Before I tried this recipe I was a little skeptical about it, but it is super simple and tastes o so good!
Chocolate Oatmeal Ingredients:
1 cup water
3/4 cup milk
1 cup oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat let the water come to a small boil. Pour in the milk and stir often making sure the milk doesn't burn. Now this is the important part. Watch the milk and water mixture carefully. Once you see the first sign of a boil add in the oats, sugar, and cocoa and continue to stir. Keep stirring more often then not, and let cook for about 5-7 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved. Remember that as the oatmeal cools it thickens up even more. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Makes 2 servings.
Just some crazy advice:
My husband and I firmly believe in dipping our food so if you like to dip your food as well toast up two pieces of toast and butter them up generously then dip that toast in your Chocolate Oatmeal and you really will be amazed it is yummy!
